about us

We Come to you

Whether care is needed in a private home, an assisted living community or a skilled nursing facility, our caring team visits patients as much or as little as required. We are always available to provide quality care and support to our patients and their families when and how they need it. Our staff is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide instruction to caregivers or simply to provide them with the support they need to appropriately care for their loved ones.

Our mission

Dove Hospice will always uphold the dignity and ease the suffering of everyone who comes under our care. We are dedicated to maintaining the comfort and care everyone receives as though it were given directly by one’s own family. From our family to yours, we provide a holistic approach to care and comfort while offering support to your entire family.

Dove Hospice works closely with your family members to plan and deliver all the care and services necessary. We work to ensure the greatest possible comfort while respecting your individual wishes. Our mission is to serve those who are terminally ill and to enhance their overall quality of life, no matter where they live.

Why Dove Hospice?

At Dove Hospice, the end-of-life journey is recognized as a natural part of life. When recovery is no longer the goal, the focus shifts to caring for the person and providing support to the family. Our highly trained, compassionate team concentrates on taking the fear out of the journey, making it as comfortable as possible, and helping patients and their families meet their end-of-life goals.

Diverse Expert Team

Each team that cares for a patient includes: a physician, registered nurse, certified nursing assistant, volunteer coordinator, social worker and chaplain.

Our social workers and chaplains hold advanced degrees, are clinically trained and provide for the emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their families. They honor the importance of a multicultural and individualized approach.

Clinical care teams (nurses, social workers and chaplains) are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to provide quality care exactly when it’s needed.

Individualized Care

Our clinical field teams have one of the lowest patient-to-staff ratios in hospice. This means more care and visits to our patients and their families. Plus, whether they are in private homes, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities or hospitals, we come to wherever they call home.

Dove Hospice Programs

All team members are trained in the specialized programs offered by Dove Hospice, such as the Dove Hospice Advanced Care Planning Program, which provides education to the patient and family to support them in making better-informed healthcare decisions. Other specialized programs include ones for CHF, COPD and Alzheimer’s, utilized by our teams to provide the most personalized, top-notch care.
